OVERVIEW OF APPEARANCE BY DAVID J. MARKS

1) BANDSAWN VENEERS DEMO

David will perform a demonstration on how to determine the drift of the blade, etting up the fence, preparing stock, and resawing veneers on the bandsaw.

2) VACUUM PRESS DEMO

David will perform a demo on bending curved wood in the vacuum press.

3) SCRAPERS DEMO

In this demo David will show how to sharpen card scrapers, gooseneck scrapers, and the Stanley #80 scraper plane. After sharpening these tools, he will demo how to use them. Members of the audience will be invited to come up and try their hand at it.

4) OPEN FORUM

This will be an open forum for questions and answers.
